Past & Present

 Good evening, dear reader. 

Today I finished a lovely book by Kate Morton. 

The House at Riverton is a beautifully written story about the past and present. It tells us a tale about love, set during a period of war, and a bit of a mystery surrounding the memories of the past. The way that aristocratic families used to live, and a peek inside their world of servants, parties, and proprieties. Kate weaves a beautiful story, and I couldn't wait to finish the book. 

Seriously, grab this book and curl up on a chilly fall day with a blanket, and read.
